With three standout choices—Elantra, Elantra Coupe and Elantra GT—Hyundai’s family of compact cars offers an embarrassment of riches—and a new high-tech way to check them out for yourself: Just visit Hyundai’s new “Driveway Decision Maker” atwww.PickMyElantra.com. There, site visitors can configure an Elantra of their choice, and then, through the magic of Google, they can see the car follow a real-world, 3D route to any street address they’ve entered. Users can even “park” the Elantra after it arrives.
“With the two additions to the Elantra family, customers now have the option of choosing between the GT, Coupe and Sedan,” said Steve Shannon, vice president of Marketing, Hyundai Motor America. “Driveway Decision Maker lets users customize and ‘try-on’ which Elantra fits them best.”
As a reminder, now that the Elantra proper has followed up its 2012 North American Car of the Year Award by launching two equally impressive variants for the 2013 model year, customers can choose from:
- Elantra Coupe—An athletic two-door performer, the Elantra Coupe delivers more power and higher fuel-efficiency marks than the Honda Civic Coupe, along with standard features like a sport-tuned suspension, Bluetooth technology, heated front seats and 17-inch wheels.
- Elantra GT—Five-door versatility, best-in-class fuel-economy grades, and the lowest curb weight in its segment are just part of the package with the dynamic Elantra GT. For example, it also provides both more passenger room and more cargo room than the Ford Focus, VW Golf, Toyota Matrix, or Mazda3.
- Elantra Sedan—The original, still offering EPA ratings of 29 mpg city/40 mpg highway/33 mpg combined and standard features like premium cloth seats, Hyundai’s Vehicle Stability Management technology and a 172-watt, six-speaker sound system.
