Attenzione: maccheronic and kartoffeln english inside...

Hi again Maurizio,
in general I can tell you that in the end it doesn't matter at all in which model you install a RaceChip.
If used engine is the same and engine details are similar you can always use the same RaceChip.
So in which Hyundai model with this CRDi engine you install this RaceChip Ultimate Connect isn't relevant for compatibility.

Good morning Ria,
first of all thanks a lot for your quick answer.
I'm happy to know that the chip is suitable for my car; maybe you could update your sites with the 2015-> New Tucson reference.
Anyway, can I assume that the RaceChip series for the Hyundai ix35 1.7 CRDi will be usable on the 2015->on New Tucson too (they have same power of the "old" IX35, but some NMs more for torque)?
If you can confirm this I will be happy to tell friends on the italian Hyundai forum <
www.hyundai-club.eu> that they can order their RaceChips!
Best regards,
Maurizio Xxxxxxxxx

Good morning Mr. Xxxxxxxxx,
Thank you very much for contacting the RaceChip Customer Service.
Important for RaceChip's compatibility is a similarity in capacity and kW performance since RaceChip actively only works with injection system.
How much NM torque engine has doesn't matter at all in this relation. This value e.g. depends on the transmission which is used. For the RaceChip itself this doesn't matter though.
So the current RaceChip Ultimate Connect you are using in the Hyundai Tucson 2.0 CRDi is definitely the suitable one.
Should you require any more information or assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.
You may simply reply to this message and a member of our team will get back to you.

Good morning Sirs,
I have just purchased an Ultimate Connect chip for Hyundai IX35 2.0 CRDi 100 kw, after having checked with some friends that it will be compatibile with my 2015 Hyundai new Tucson 2.0 CRDi 100 kw (they have installed their old ix35 chip on their new Tucson after contacting you).
I have already installed it with no problem and it works without problems.
I have set it on Efficency at first, just to check fuel consumption, and in the next few days I will verify the effective km/lit gain; later I will try the other settings to feel the performance changes.
But I have a doubt: the ix35 engine had 100kw and 320nm, while the specification of the new Tucson engine are 100kw and 375nm...
I wonder if this difference could affect the functionality of the chip, and, as it seems possible to remotely update the chip's firmware via the app, if there is a way to do it with a specific firmware for the new Tucson.
I'm looking forward for your answer, best regards,
Maurizio Xxxxxxxxx
